The Clothesline Project Workshop

The Clothesline Project is a tool used for healing and education about violence against women. T-Shirts made by survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, incest or child sexual abuse, and abuse because of sexual orientation are displayed as a way or raising awareness. If you would like to make a shirt to add to the Clothesline Project, please join us at this time. This is a chance for you to share your story and use your voice. Everyone is welcome. We will provide information about the project, all of the supplies, and plenty of support.

Rape Awareness Workshop
Wednesday, April 17th from 9:00 Am - 3:00 Pm
UMD Campus, Garden Room
This workshop is for educators, administrators, service providers, law enforcement, and student organizations who service college-aged populations. Research and community initiatives will be discussed, and breakout sessions addressing the challenges of rape prevention and education will be offered. Lunch will be served. Presenters include Vice-chancellor Lisa Erwin, UMD Police Ctpn. Scott Drewio, and Dr. John Hamlin.
