In the summer of 1980, Eva Margolis leaves her husband and winds up in Bluefish Cove, not knowing she’s stumbled into a community of lesbians. King Charles II decreed that male players were no longer permitted to perform women’s roles, and the torch was passed. Jeffrey Hatcher’s historically based script places us in the minds and hearts of the people, and illuminates a brutal, rocky road of change.

The work conveys the mystical, cannibalistic pull of family ties even as they unravel. Yet only the memory of an unwanted child can hope to deliver this family.

A passionate Washington Senators fan sells his soul to the Devil - and the Devil's seductive assistant - in order to be transformed into a star outfielder who can lead his beloved team to a victory against those damn Yankees. Based on the novel The Year the Yankees Lost The Pennant and featuring music and lyrics by Richard Adler and Jerry Ross, Damn Yankees features such hit songs as "Heart," "Whatever Lola Wants, Lola Gets" and "Shoeless Joe From Hannibal Mo."
