Agency Description:	Mahnomen County Human Services is a county social service agency that provides a full range of financial and social services. About 1/3 of the population of the county is American Indian.
Description of Field Activities	Students will have the opportunity to practice using a variety of social work skills and methods. This will include interviewing, monitoring, case management, case planning, assessment, court facilitation, referral and follow-up services. Students will be given a caseload of child welfare/child protection cases in tandem with an existing agency worker. Students will learn state and federal statutes, as well as the SSIS data management system.
Approval for Field I, II, Either??	This agency has been approved for Field I placements. It is possible that a Field II placement may be considered if additional mezzo/macro-level activities are identified.
