The mission of First Witness is to strengthen the community's response to child abuse. This agency investigates, assesses and educates using a multidisciplinary team approach. First Witness attempts to make the community a safe place for children to grow and thrive. First Witness provides forensic interviews, investigative interview training for professionals, community outreach and education, and family support services including crisis counseling.

Students will observe/monitor investigative interviews of child abuse victims, have individual contact with families, design and facilitate support groups, be an active member of the multi-disciplinary team, and participate in investigative interview training.
