The student will be working with Project Hope. Project Hope provides advocacy for people on MFIP (Minnesota Family Investment Program) who have a desire to reach employment goals. Advocacy is not limited to employment however, but rather individualized to the client and their family’s needs. Case management often includes advocacy around issues of education, housing and child care for the family as well. The student would be able to work with our Project Hope staff and if comfortable, obtain a small case load of their own to work on. Students would have the opportunity to collaborate with other community agencies including the workforce center.
