Arrowhead House East is licensed by the State of Minnesota as an Intensive Residential Treatment Service (IRTS) to provide intensive mental health and dual diagnosis treatment in a residential setting for a maximum of 90 days.

The educational experiences available to the student include the following: screening potential recipients for admittance into treatment; completing a Functional Assessment of the individual per state requirements; conducting and documenting a daily rehab encounter with assigned recipients; providing case management assistance to assigned caseload; developing individual treatment plans; completing Individual Abuse Prevention Plans with assigned recipients; becoming knowledgeable of outside community resources to properly assist and advise recipients of treatment; facilitating educational groups as assigned; becoming knowledgeable of the Evidence Based Practices used in programming; becoming knowledgeable of the Rehabilitative Treatment methods used; attending weekly clinical meetings for required supervision; and participating in training opportunities.
