Summer student service fee information and rates.
Students not enrolled for summer session and students taking less than 3 credits:Students not enrolled for summer session or students taking less than 3 credits must pay the Health Services Summer Fee if they wish to use Health Services. At the time the fee is paid, a summer participation card will be presented to the patient. This card must be shown to the scheduler at each visit. Graduate StudentsThe Health Services Summer Fee does not apply to graduate students insured through the Graduate Assistant Plan. The fee does, however, apply for all other insures as outlined above. Optional summer payment methodStudents not enrolled during the summer may have their visits billed to their insurance companies rather than paying the Health Services Summer Fee. Birth control prescription refillsThe Health Services Summer Fee does not apply for students seeking birth control prescription refills. (If an examination is required, see policies outlined above.) Standing Lab OrdersThe Health Services Summer Fee applies as outlined above. Allergy shots and immunizationsThe Health Services Summer Fee applies as outlined above. Non-UMD college students (does not apply to UMD senior visitors)Office calls will be billed to the patient or to their insurance. The Health Services Summer Fee does not apply.
