Graduate Commencement

Commencement is a celebration of all you have accomplished.

Participation is voluntary but graduates are encouraged to attend.

Students who wish to participate in the upcoming commencement ceremony, but will not have completed all degree requirements by the end of May 2015 should contact their Director of Graduate Studies. Students who anticipate completing all degree requirements by the end of Fall 2015 may be eligible to walk, with program approval.

UMD Commencement is scheduled for Saturday, May 16, 2015 at the Duluth Entertainment and Convention Center, Amsoil Arena.

There will be two separate ceremonies:

10:00 a.m. LSBE and SCSE students
3:00 p.m. CEHSP, SFA, and CLA students

Graduate students may participate in only one ceremony. If a student does not participate in the ceremony for which he or she is scheduled, the student will not be allowed to participate in any subsequent ceremony.
