What is the The Spectrum?
The Spectrum is an electronic newsletter series produced by the First Year Experience & Students in Transition Office. This publication highlights information pertinent to new college students.

Different information is highlighted at different times of year. For example, there is information about how to handle roommate conflicts, how to prepare for exams, how to get to know the campus resources, etc, during the times when you are likely to need the information. There is also a list of campus events and happenings so you can be aware of many of the social opportunities UMD has to offer.
